User Interface Tools: a Survey and Perspective

چکیده
Our survey provides many insights into the features that users are looking for in user interface tools, as well as into the factors that may hinder their use. The results suggest that users are willing to pay a high price for a reliable tool that helps developing the user interface of both prototypes and fully operational systems and that provides good functionality. Yet users want a tool that is easy to use and learn. Reconciling these requirements is a major challenge for tool developers and researchers.
